Knowing what is counted, where to see it, and why the figure in your workspace can be checked conversation by conversation.
What you will know at the end
What is counted against your subscription, where to read it, and how to open the list of conversations behind a figure. A count you cannot open is an invoice you cannot check.
The counted unit is the conversation: one complete exchange with a person. Its length does not change the count — a forty-second call and a six-minute call count the same.
Amounts are not here. They sit on the pricing page, public for each section, and the Subscription screen in your workspace shows the exact offer resolved for you.
Before you start
An account with a role that opens the Subscription screen
The name of your line of business: it decides your base
The period you want to check
Add-ons are switched on and off separately: removing one does not touch the others, and nothing is added unless you choose it.
The steps
Step 1
Open the Subscription screen
It shows your base, what it includes, the active add-ons, and where your usage stands for the current period. That is the offer as calculated, not an approximate summary.
Step 2
Read what is counted
Conversations held in your name, on any channel. Written messages that belong to one conversation are not counted twice: the conversation counts, not the number of exchanges inside it.
Step 3
Open a figure
Every counted unit is tied to the conversation that produced it. You can therefore walk from a total back to one specific call, with its time and its outcome.
Step 4
Change an add-on, if needed
Adding or removing an add-on happens on the same screen, and the effect on your entitlements is recalculated from the version of your offer. What you see after the change is what applies.
Step 5
Find your invoices
They are listed on the same screen, with the period covered. Payment runs through our payment provider: card numbers do not pass through our servers.
What a counted conversation is
A conversation is a complete exchange with one person, whatever the channel. Its length plays no part in the count: a forty-second call and a six-minute call are worth the same. That is deliberate — counting minutes pushes towards shorter calls, and a rushed call is a badly served customer.
Exchanges inside one conversation are not counted separately. Someone who writes, gets an answer, refines the request and gets a confirmation has held one conversation, not four. A test call made from your browser does not count either.
Base, options and resolved entitlements
Your base follows your line of business, and each base includes a local number and 50 Standard calls a month. Options are added one at a time, when they serve you: none is bundled in by default, and removing one leaves the others untouched.
The Subscription screen shows the offer as it was resolved for your account — the base, the active options, and what that set entitles you to do. It is not a hand-written summary: it is the calculation actually used to decide what runs.
The edge cases
A wrong number calls you
The conversation exists, and it appears in your list labelled for what it is. If you believe it was counted wrongly, write to us with its time: the conversation can be opened and the check is made on the record, not on our word.
You are nearing your allowance
The Subscription screen shows what is left for the current period. The rule that applies beyond your base allowance is not published on this site while it is unsettled, and we answer you in writing if you approach it.
You change an option mid-period
The effect on your entitlements is recomputed from the version of your offer, and what the screen shows after the change is what applies. The invoice states the period covered by each line.
You run several sites
Each site carries its own number and its own usage, and the detail reads site by site. An overall total stays available, but it does not replace the breakdown: the breakdown is what tells you where an unusual month came from.
The person who pays is not the person who answers
The Subscription screen opens by role. A role that answers customers has no need to read your invoices, and an accounting role has no need to read your conversations.
If something does not work
The count looks too high
Open the list of conversations for the period: cold sales calls and wrong numbers appear there with their reason. If one was counted in error, write to us with its time.
You do not know what happens beyond the included calls
The rule that applies beyond your base's allowance is not published on this site. We would rather write nothing than announce a mechanism that has not been settled; the Subscription screen shows what is left, and we answer in writing if you approach the limit.
An add-on appears that you did not choose
That should not happen: nothing is added by default. Report it with the date, and we trace the change back through your record.
The screen total and the invoice total differ
The period covered is probably not the same. Compare the exact dates; if the gap holds, write to us with both periods.
Frequently asked questions
What owners ask about what is counted.
Does call length change the count?
No. The counted unit is the conversation, not the minute. A short call and a long call count the same, and nothing pushes your receptionist to hang up sooner.
How many calls does a base include?
50 Standard calls a month, in each of the eight sections, with a local number and no setup fee. The price of each section is shown on the pricing page.
Where do I see the detail behind a figure?
On the Subscription screen: each counted unit is attached to the conversation that produced it, with its time and its outcome. A count you cannot open is a count you cannot check.
Do written messages count separately?
No. A written conversation counts as one conversation, and the exchanges inside it are not counted a second time.
Is there a commitment or an exit fee?
No. No fixed-term contract, no installation fee, and cancelling happens from the Subscription screen without writing to us.
The cancellation article gives the order of operations for leaving without losing a call.
How are payments handled?
Through our payment provider. Card numbers do not pass through our servers, and your invoices sit in the same screen, with the period covered.
